Therese Grankvist, born on May 2, 1977, in Nässjö, Sweden, is a singer and songwriter who began her career under the alias Drömhus. In 1997, she recorded her singing on an answering machine from a record company, which led to her joining the eurodance project Drömhus when he met Dr. Alban. Her first single, "Du och jag", was released in 1997, but her breakthrough came with "Vill ha dig" in 1998. In 1999, Drömhus competed in Melodifestivalen with the song "Stjärna på himlen", finishing second. In 2000, Grankvist transitioned from performing under the name Drömhus to using her given name, Therese. She released her debut album Acapulco in 2003, and singles included collaborations with StoneBridge on the successful tracks "Put 'Em High" and "Take Me Away", both released in 2004. In 2014, she founded Vixon Records and released her EP, Missing Disco, in 2015.
