Elektrik Kezy Mezy, a garage beat duo from Munich, Germany, was formed in 2008 by Frank Feiler and Amadeus Böhm. The band, known for their 1960s-inspired music style, released their debut album Elektricity in 2009, which gained attention from the music press, with reviews highlighting their charismatic vocals and energetic garage beat sound. In February 2012, Elektrik Kezy Mezy returned to the studio to record their second album, Simple Pleasures, which was released on May 10, 2013. The band's live performances were noted for their intensity, earning them notable comparisons to The White Stripes. Elektrik Kezy Mezy also contributed to the soundtrack of the film Abschussfahrt with the track "Friends" in 2015.
