Petar Rosandić, known professionally as Kid Pex (born in the 20th century), is an Austrian hip-hop musician and activist of Croatian descent. Frequently referred to by the nickname “Tschuschenrapper Österreichs”, Rosandić released his debut album Gastarbeiterlife in 2009. In 2010, Rosandić signed with Deine Mutter Records and released the album Bečko čudo / Wiener Wunder, which reached number 54 on the Austrian charts. The project featured the single “Kako je u Beču” and collaborations with artists including Juice, Rasco, and Target. Rosandić also appeared in the film Echte Wiener 2 – Die Deppat'n und die Gspritzt'n (2010). His later discography included the albums Perestroika (2012) and Bečka škola (2014). In 2013, Rosandić and A.geh Wirklich? released the single “Recht auf Leben” as a protest anthem. In 2021, Rosandić became chairman of the NGO SOS Balkanroute. He received the Ferdinand-Berger-Preis in 2023.
