He began his career as a drummer and frontman for bands like Burn Season and his own solo project, Amaru, before stepping into the spotlight with Saliva in 2011. His arrival brought renewed energy and a modern edge to the band, leading them through five studio releases—including Love, Lies & Therapy and the acclaimed Revelation: Retold while staying true to the band’s anthemic, blue-collar sound.
Amaru’s powerful vocals and honest songwriting have fueled Saliva’s continued success, with singles like High On Me: Retold reaching the Top 20 on Billboard’s Active Rock chart.
