Yasmina Hunzinger, born on June 6, 1977, in Basel, Switzerland, is a Swiss singer. She began her musical journey at an early age with singing lessons from her mother and making her stage debut at her mother's concerts. At the age of 13, she performed in Benjamin Britten's children's opera Noah and the Flood. In 2001, she moved to Germany to pursue a freelance career. Her debut solo album, Always And Forever, was produced by Danny Plett in 2002. Hunzinger received the Newcomer of the Year award at the Promikon music fair in 2003. She released her second album, Little Things Ain't Always Small, in 2006 under Gerth Media. In July 2008, she won the Cesme Song Contest with "When You Believe". Hunzinger participated in the first season of The Voice of Germany in 2011 and reached the fourth live show.
