Jassin was born in Berlin on December 12, 2001. His real name is Jassin Jaradat. He is a German rapper and songwriter and is regarded as the distinctive voice of a young generation in German-language hip-hop. In the late 2010s, Jassin began his first musical releases, which quickly spread via streaming platforms and social networks. He did not form a band; Jassin worked as a solo artist. His style moves between classic rap, trap and melodic hip-hop. The lyrics are personal, direct and often characterized by identity, origin and everyday experiences. Jassin attracted attention early on with singles such as "Kinder ohne Heimat" and "Allein". The songs achieve high streaming figures and bring him growing attention in the German rap scene. The debut album Kinder ohne Heimat is released in 2023. Another studio album, Arsenalplatz, follows at the end of November 2025. The rapper reaches number 31 in the German charts for the first time.
