Vertigo was founded in Munich, Germany in 1997 by the brothers Giorgio Koppehele (born January 21, 1963 in Munich) and Martin Koppehele (born April 18, 1965 in Munich). The project is an electronic remix music project in the electro, trance and techno genres and transforms well-known melodies into danceable versions. The project's singer is Anne Lindt. In 1997 Vertigo released the maxi-single Oxygene (1997). The maxi-singles Magic Eyes (1997) and Twilight Zone (1997) follow in the same year. These titles appear as remix 12-inch singles and achieve chart positions in Germany.
