La Excepción, a Spanish rap group from Pan Bendito in Carabanchel, Madrid, was formed by MCs Juan Manuel Montilla and Antonio Moreno Amador. They began performing as teenagers under the name Amenaza Criminal. Their breakthrough came with producer Frank T, who produced their first maxi "En tu carrino paio" (2002) and debut album ¡Cata Cheli! (2003), earning them critical acclaim. Their unique style, blending flamenco influences with local slang and humor, led to performances at major festivals like Viña Rock and Monegros Desert Festival. In 2006, they released Aguantando el Tiron, which was nominated for Best Hip-Hop Album at the 11th Premios de la Música.
