Streaplers, a Swedish dance band originating from Kungälv, Sweden, formed in 1959. Originally a pop music group, the initial lineup included Gert Lengstrand, Mats Alfredsson, Göran Liljeblad, Håkan Liljeblad, and Lasse Larsson. Their breakthrough came with the release of their debut album The Streaplers in 1964. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Streaplers achieved significant success on the Svensktoppen with hits such as "Valentino" (1976), "Jag har en dröm" (1987), and "Till min kära" which topped the charts for 22 weeks between 1995 and 1997. In 2002, Göran Liljeblad received the Guldklaven award for Guitarist of the Year. The group continued to release albums, including Vad som än händer in 2005, and received the Guldklaven award for Dance Group of the Year that same year. Notable members included Kenny Samuelsson, Anders Larsson (who replaced Lasse Larsson after his death in 2004), Kjetil Granli, Per Lundin, and Maxi Jäsklid. In 2011, SVT aired a documentary titled Streaplers och evigheten, chronicling the group's over 50-year career. Streaplers participated in the television show Dansa hemma during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
