Luca Turilli's Rhapsody, an Italian symphonic power metal band, was formed in 2011 by Luca Turilli following his departure from Rhapsody of Fire. The band included members from Germany, France, and Finland, with Turilli serving as the lead guitarist and keyboardist. Their debut album, Ascending to Infinity, was released on June 22, 2012. The band's second studio album, Prometheus: Symphonia Ignis Divinus, was released in 2015. In April 2017, Turilli, along with former Rhapsody of Fire vocalist Fabio Lione, embarked on the twentieth Anniversary Farewell Tour. The band announced an indefinite hiatus in June 2018. Notable singles include "Dark Fate of Atlantis" released in 2012 and "Il cigno nero (Reloaded)" released in 2015.
