Hymie's Basement, an American indie rock duo consisting of Yoni Wolf and Andrew Broder, formed in 2002, and was known for combining elements of rap, folk, and indie rock. Their debut album, Hymie's Basement, was released on Lex Records in October 21, 2003. The album was recorded in the basement of Hymies Record store in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which Broder's wife co-owned at the time.
