Black Legend is an Italian electronic music group formed in 1999, consisting of DJs and producers Enrico Ferrari and Ciro Sasso, along with British singer Elroy "Spoonface" Powell. The band's breakthrough came in the summer of 2000 with their international hit "You See the Trouble With Me". This track was based on a live sample from Barry White's 1990 concert in Belgium; however, when White denied permission to use his voice, Powell re-recorded the vocals. The single reached Number 1 on the UK charts for one week in June 2000 and also charted in Germany and Switzerland, earning a Gold record in Belgium. Following this success, Black Legend continued to release singles such as "We'll Be In Trouble" (1999), "Legends in the Fog" (2000), "Light My Fire" and "Somebody" (2001), and "Under Pressure" (2002). These releases achieved notable success within the European club scene, though they did not replicate the commercial heights of their debut hit.
