Pablove Black, born Paul Anthony Dixon on October 24, 1950, in Jamaica, is a reggae musician known for his skills as a keyboardist and steel drummer. He began playing piano and steel drums in the mid-1960s, making his first television appearance with Pan Master, Kelvin Hart, and the Federal All-Star Steel Band within six months. In 1971, Pablove joined the Studio One crew under Clement "Sir Coxsone" Dodd, improving his musicality under the tutelage of notable musicians Jackie Mittoo, Ernest Ranglin, and Roland Alphonso. He contributed to albums by artists such as Dennis Brown, Burning Spear, Marcia Griffiths, Freddie McGregor, and Johnny Osbourne. His album releases include Mr. Music Originally and Charcoal Charlie (1986). He also released singles, such as "Push Pull" and "High Locks" in 1974, "In Cold Blood" in 1976, "Oppression / Push Pull" in 2013, and "Heavenless / After Christmas" in 2016.
