Lasairfhíona Ní Chonaola, born around 1977 on Inisheer, Aran Islands, Ireland, is an Irish singer-songwriter known for her sean-nós singing style. She graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in Celtic Studies. Her debut album An Raicín Álainn was launched in 2002 at the Festival Interceltique in Lorient, Brittany, and was selected by Hot Press as one of the best folk albums of that year. In 2003, she collaborated with Sinéad O'Connor on her DVD Goodnight, Thank You, You've Been a Lovely Audience. Lasairfhíona's second album, Flame of Wine, was released in 2006 and included newly composed songs in both Irish and English. Her third album, One Penny Portion, was released in 2016 following a successful fundraiser.
