The Morning After Girls, an Australian neo-psychedelic band, was formed in Melbourne around 2003 by Sacha Lucashenko and Martin B. Sleeman. After relocating the project to New York City in 2008, the lineup expanded to include Alexander White, EJ Hagen, and John Brodeur. The band toured internationally with acts such as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, the Dandy Warhols, and the Brian Jonestown Massacre, and appeared at major festivals including Reading Festival and T in the Park. Their full-length album Alone was released digitally in 2009, later receiving physical releases in 2011. They also contributed the track “Death Processions” to the video game Tony Hawk Ride and had songs featured in television series such as 90210 and The Vampire Diaries.
