Acid Casuals, a Welsh musical group based in Cardiff, was formed by members of Super Furry Animals and Big Leaves. The group's initial steps into the music scene included the release of their first single, "Perfect Bitch/GPG", launched at the Tokyo Fashion Show in 1997. Acid Casuals' involvement extended beyond music to fashion and arts; they created a clothing brand, AC, in 1997 and opened the AC Capsule Gallery on Charles Street in Cardiff in 2002. Their film, Lexy Funk, shot in New York, contributed to their popularity in South Wales. The group also provided sounds for the Super Furry Tank festival during the summer of 1997. In 2005, Acid Casuals released two notable singles, "Wa Da Da" and "Bowl Me Over", followed by their debut album, Omni, in 2006.
