Moose, a British indie rock band from London, was formed in 1990 by Russell Yates and Kevin McKillop. Initially known for their guitar-driven sound, Moose signed with Hut Records in 1991 and released three EPs produced by Guy Fixsen. Their debut album ...XYZ was released in 1992. The band also collaborated with notable musicians such as Tim Gane from Stereolab and Delores O'Riordan from The Cranberries. After parting ways with Hut Records due to insufficient sales, Moose released two more albums, Honey Bee (1994) and Live a Little Love a Lot (1996), under Play It Again Sam. Their final album, High Ball Me! (2000), was released by Nickel & Dimes in the UK and Saltwater Records in the US. Throughout their career, Moose received critical acclaim but achieved only modest commercial success.
