Christopher Park, born July 30, 1987 in Bamberg, Germany, is a German-South Korean pianist and professor. He began piano studies at age seven and studied under Thomas Duis at the Saar University of Music. In 2004 he continued his education at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts with Lev Natochenny and Joachim Volkmann. Park's career launched with performances across Europe, the USA, Asia, Africa, and New Zealand, including festivals like the Rheingau Music Festival and Lucerne Festival. He collaborated with orchestras such as the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, and conductors including Christoph Eschenbach and Sebastian Weigle. His discography includes Liszt Confession (2012) and Schumman, Stravinsky, Neuwirth (2016). Park's achievements include the 2008 Förderpreis der Hauck & Aufhäuser Kulturstiftung and the 2014 Leonard Bernstein Award. In 2021, he became a professor at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo.
