Journalist and singer Yoh Armand Claude Virgil was born in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. A distinguished journalist with Radio Télévision Ivoirienne, he takes the name Gbaï Godo when he sings. In 2003, he released his one and only cassette, Abraham. The album was reissued in 2012 and appeared on platforms a year after he was forced into exile by President Ouattara. The most memorable tracks are "Abraham", "Suzy" and "Authenticité", on an album on which he advocates peace.
