Anna-Lena Löfgren was born on May 1, 1944, in Stockholm. She is a Swedish pop singer who also gained fame in German-speaking countries in the 1960s. She had her breakthrough in 1961 with the song “Regniga Natt, ” which became the hit of the year in Sweden in 1962 and was awarded a gold record. In Germany, she released her first German-language single in 1962, but it wasn’t until later that hits such as “Immer am Sonntag, ” “Zum Weinen kein Talent, ” “Jedes Herz braucht eine Heimat, ” “Rosen aus Papier,” and “Eine Hütte in den Bäumen” followed .
