Rest in Clouds is the ambient project of Valencia-based composer and mastering engineer Raúl Jordan. His music blends layered synth pads, drifting atmospheres, and environmental field recordings to create immersive, nature-infused soundscapes rooted in the organic ambient tradition. Influenced by pioneers like Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream, as well as psychedelic ambient artists such as Carbon Based Lifeforms and Aes Dana, Jordan crafts each piece from a visual or emotional concept, building sonic environments that evoke stillness and memory. His work frequently appears on curated playlists focused on lucid dreaming, ambient music with nature sounds, and slow, meditative listening. Jordan also runs Abstract Studios Mastering in Valencia, where he brings clarity and depth to ambient and electronic music from around the world.
