Stephanie Dosen, born May 12, 1973 in Wisconsin, is an American singer-songwriter. She began her music career in 1994 with the ambient techno group Virus, whose debut album Analogue was influential in the Christian trance music scene. In 2002, Dosen released her first solo album, Ghosts, Mice & Vagabonds, which earned her a spot as one of Billboard's top six independent musicians in the Midwest for 2003. Her second solo album, A Lily for the Spectre (2007), was produced with Simon Raymonde of Bella Union. Dosen gained further recognition through collaborations with Massive Attack and The Chemical Brothers. In 2014, she formed Snowbird with Raymonde, releasing their debut album Moon. Her songs have been featured on the soundtracks of TV shows such as Dawson's Creek, NUMB3RS and Party of Five.
