Os Anjos, a Portuguese pop/rock duo consisting of brothers Nelson Rosado and Sérgio Rosado, were born in Lisbon. Both began their musical journey at the Academia da Música at young ages, performing as Irmãos Rosado at various events. Their breakthrough came in 1996 when they won the Lugar aos Mais Novos competition on Rádio Renascença. In 1999, Os Anjos embarked on a solo career with their debut single "Ficarei," which sold over 150,000 copies. Their self-titled album Ficarei was released the same year and sold 40,000 copies in its first three months. Subsequent albums include Espelho (2001), Tour Viver (2003), and Segr3dos Reedição (2004).
