Joseph Moog, born on December 26, 1987, in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Germany, is a German pianist and composer. He began playing the piano at age four and became a junior student at the Karlsruhe University of Music at ten. Moog studied under Bernd Glemser at the Würzburg University of Music and Arie Vardi at the Hannover University of Music. His career took off with performances in major concert halls across Europe, the USA, and Asia, collaborating with orchestras such as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Notable albums include Franz Liszt: Recital - Joseph Moog (2011) and Tchaikovsky-Scharwenka Piano Sonatas (2014). Moog has received several awards, including the "Young Artist of the Year" at the International Classical Music Awards in 2012. He is also the co-founder and artistic director of the Konz Musik Festival, which debuted in 2019.
