Fejd is a Swedish folk metal band formed in 2001 in Lilla Edet. The group originated from a medieval music duo consisting of brothers Patrik and Niklas Rimmerfors. They collaborated with Lennart Specht, Thomas Antonsson, and Esko Salow to integrate metal with traditional Nordic folk melodies. The band's early self-produced releases included the demos I En Tid Som Var in 2002 and Huldran in 2004, followed by the EP Eld in 2006. Their debut full-length album, Storm, was released through Napalm Records in 2009, with the follow-up album Eifur appearing in 2010. Fejd has performed at major festivals, including Wacken Open Air and the Wave-Gotik-Treffen. In 2013, the band released the album Nagelfar. In 2016, guitarist Per-Owe Sovelius joined the group for the release of Trolldom, which introduced electric guitars to their traditionally acoustic instrumentation.
