Old Dogs was an American country music supergroup formed in 1998. The ensemble consisted of veteran musicians Waylon Jennings, Bobby Bare, Jerry Reed, and Mel Tillis. The group recorded a self-titled debut album, Old Dogs, which was released in 1998 through Atlantic Records. The project featured songs written by Shel Silverstein, including "Still Gonna Die" and "I Don't Do It No More". The recording reached number 46 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart in 1998. The group performed together on television specials and in live venues to promote the release. Jennings died on February 13, 2002. Reed died on September 1, 2008, and Tillis died on November 19, 2017.
