Don Campbell, born in north-west London, is a British reggae singer. In the early 1980s, he was a member of several bands including Creation Rebel and Dub Syndicate before embarking on his solo career. He played drums on notable albums such as Vivian Jones' works and Bim Sherman's Across the Red Sea. Campbell released his first single in 1993, which topped the British reggae charts. His debut album also reached Number 1, earning him six awards at the 1994 British Reggae Industry Awards. He collaborated with General Saint on several records including "Oh! Carol" and "Save the Last Dance for Me", both of which charted in the UK. In 1997, he recorded "Give Thanks" with Winston Rose. Campbell has since released multiple albums, including Rise Up (2001) and Any Day Now (2003), and performed at notable events such as the Bob Marley Day Festival in Long Beach, California in 2003.
