[x]-Rx, an electronic dance music group from Germany, was formed in 2006 by Pascal Beniesch in Cologne. The group gained initial attention with their hit club track "Disco Distortion", released on the sampler series Extreme Sündenfall in 2006. This led to a signing with Pronoize Records and the release of their debut album, Unmöglich erregend, in 2007. That same year, the band made their international festival debut at the Summer Darkness Festival in the Netherlands. In 2009, [x]-Rx released their second album, Stage 2, followed by Update 3.0 (2010), Activate the Machinez (2012), Crank It Up (2014), and Gasoline and Fire (2017). The group also performed at the Amphi Festival in 2011, 2015, 2016, and 2018.
