Urlaub in Polen is a German noise rock and electronic duo formed in 1999 in Cologne. The ensemble originally consisted of Georg Brenner and a member known as Oli. After Oli left in 2000, Jan Philipp Janzen joined Brenner. The duo released its eponymous debut EP in 1999 through the Institut für Wohlklangforschung. After signing with the label RAKETEmusik, the ensemble released the studio recordings Parsec (2002), White Spot (2004), and Health and Welfare (2006). The group performed at the Roskilde Festival in 2003. The duo’s musical style incorporated elements of post-punk, drum and bass, and krautrock, with influences including Joy Division and Kraftwerk. Its discography included the studio albums Liquid (2009), Boldstriker (2011), and All (2020). The ensemble released the recording Objects, Beings & Parrots in 2026 through Tapete Records.
