Nina Badrić, born on July 4, 1972, in Zagreb, SFR Yugoslavia, is a Croatian pop singer who began her career as a child with the award-winning girls' choir Zvjezdice. In 1993, she participated in Crovizija with "Ostavljam te," finishing in 8th place. Badrić released her debut album Godine Nestvarne in 1995, followed by Personality in 1997, which became the best-selling album in Croatia for 2 consecutive years and won 2 Porin awards. Her single "I’m So Excited" brought her recognition beyond Croatia. In 2003, her album Ljubav was certified Gold (Zlatna ploča) and later Platinum. Badrić represented Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with Nebo, finishing 12th in the second semi-final.
