Pernilla Nina Elisabeth Wahlgren, born on December 24, 1967, in Sweden, is a Swedish singer and actress. Her early background includes acting roles from a young age, with her first television appearance at four years old alongside her mother. Wahlgren's musical breakthrough came when she participated in Melodifestivalen 1985 with the song "Piccadilly Circus", which became popular despite placing fourth. She released several albums, including Pure Dynamite (1987) and Flashback (1989), and notable songs such as "Svindlande affärer" and "I Need Your Love". Wahlgren has also participated in multiple editions of Melodifestivalen, achieving second place in 2003 with Jan Johansen. In addition to her music career, Wahlgren has acted in various plays and films, including Ingmar Bergman's Fanny and Alexander. She received the Guldmasken award twice for her theatrical work.
