As Tall As Lions was an American rock band formed in 2001 in Massapequa, Long Island, New York. The group consisted of Dan Nigro on lead vocals and guitars, Saen Fitzgerald on guitar, keyboards, and percussion, Cliff Sarcona on drums and percussion, and Brian Fortune on guitars and keyboards. Their initial breakthrough came with the release of their EP Blood and Aphorisms in 2002. They signed a joint development deal with Island Records and Triple Crown Records a few months after October 2002. In 2003, they relocated to Chicago to record their debut album, Lafcadio. Following the release of their self-titled album in 2006, As Tall As Lions embarked on extensive tours and released notable EPs such as Into the Flood in 2007. Their final studio album, You Can't Take It with You, was released in 2009. The band amicably split in 2010.
