Beyond Description is a Japanese crossover band from Tokyo formed in 1988. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style blending hardcore punk and thrash metal with socio-political lyrics. Following several demos, they released the extended play More Power to Your Elbow (1992) through the label Desperate Attempt Records, leading to tours of Germany and Italy. Their recording career includes the debut studio recording Acts of Sheer Madness (2000) and the studio recording A Road to a Brilliant Future (2004). Their discography includes the studio recordings Proof of the Truth (2011), An Elegy for Depletion (2013), and The Robotized World (2017).
