Bifrost is a Danish folk rock band formed in 1974 in Copenhagen. The early lineup consisted of keyboardist Tom Lundén, Ida Klemann, Finn Jensen, Torben Andersen, Asger Skjold-Rasmussen, Mogens Ficher, and singer-dancer Annapurna. In 1976, the ensemble released its eponymous debut studio album, Bifrost, through CBS Records. The recording included the track “Hej Maria”. That same year, Lundén wrote the protest song “I kan ikke slå os ihjel” as an anthem for the Christiania commune. In 1977, Mikael Miller replaced Jensen on guitar, and the band released Til En Sigøjner, which featured the track “Det er morgen”. John Teglgaard joined as an additional guitarist in 1978. Between 1979 and 1987, the band released several recordings including Crazy Canary and Vand Jeg Kan Gå På. The group released the album Hjerte Til Salg in 1996.
