Raphaël Didjaman is a French musician and teacher who has made the didgeridoo, the wind instrument of the Aborigines of northern Australia, his main means of expression. The artist has forged a singular identity for himself, adopting the lifestyle of the local population. He designs his own instruments. For several years, his artistic projects have provoked incredible encounters between the lyrical universe of Charles Gounod, the poetry of Arthur Rimbaud, electronic music and music therapy. It's not unusual to discover the voices of Arthur H, Sapho, Desireless, Guillaume Galienne or Jean-Claude Dreyfus accompanying the volutes of sound from his didgeridoo.
