Welly are a dynamic power-pop band who formed in Brighton in 2023, fronted by the charismatic and distinctive Elliot "Welly" Hall. Known for their infectious melodies, shimmering guitar riffs, and anthemic sound, the band blends classic power-pop sensibilities with modern flair. Elliot Hall's voice, with its raw emotion and playful energy, leads the charge, while the band’s tight rhythm section and eclectic instrumentation create a signature style that’s both nostalgic and forward-thinking. The band’s lineup is rounded out by Joe Holden-Brown and Matt Gleeson on guitar, Jacob Whitear on bass and Hanna Witkamp on synthesizer. After kicking things off with a string of singles, Welly released their debut album Big in the Suburbs in 2025.
