Litzy Vanya Domínguez Balderas, known professionally as Litzy, was born on October 27, 1982, in Ciudad de México. She began her career in entertainment in late 1993 when she joined the group Jeans with Paty Sirvent, Angie, and Tabatha Vizuet. The group released their debut album, Jeans, in 1996, which included hits like "Pepe" and "Me pongo mis jeans". Litzy left Jeans in 1997 due to disagreements with the management. She then launched her solo career with the album Transparente, released in 1998 under Eduardo Posada's production. The album sold over 200,000 units and featured the hit single "No te extraño", which competed in European rankings and was part of the soundtrack for the film Sexo, pudor y lágrimas. Litzy also participated in the reunion of Jeans for their 2015 album Déjà Vu. In addition to her music career, Litzy has acted in various telenovelas.
