Laura Bonometti is an Italian pop-rock singer-songwriter. She began her career performing in clubs and entering newcomer competitions, later gaining major recognition in 2005 when she won the “new artists” section of the Sanremo Music Festival with the song “Non credo nei miracoli.” Her self-titled debut album, released the same year, achieved notable international success, particularly in Finland where it reached the top ten, and led to a duet with Tomi Metsäketo on “Oggi ti amo” as well as a performance at the opening ceremony of the 2005 World Athletics Championships in Helsinki. In 2006, she released a Spanish version of her debut album and took part in the television competition Music Farm. Her third studio album La Mia Discreta Compagnia (2010) included the single “Tra Noi L'Immensità,” which was later used in a Telecom Italia commercial.
