Jussi Pekka Hakulinen, born on December 21, 1964, in Finland, was a singer and songwriter. He began his music career as an original member of the Finnish rock band Yö, contributing to their early success with platinum-selling albums Varietee (1983) and Nuorallatanssija (1984). Hakulinen left Yö in 1985 to pursue a solo career, releasing his debut album Vaaleanpunainen majatalo. His notable songs included "Joutsenlaulu" (1984) and "Rakkaus on lumivalkoinen" (2003), both recorded by Yö. Hakulinen continued to release albums, including Pennitön Onassis (1991), Vieraskirja (1995), and Tähtipölyä (2010). He occasionally collaborated with Yö on concerts and songwriting until his death on August 9, 2022.
