Ernesto Bitetti, born on July 20, 1943, in Rosario, Argentina, is a guitarist. He gained significant recognition through his collaborations with various orchestras worldwide, including those in England, Italy, Switzerland, the BBC, and Buenos Aires. Bitetti premiered works by composers such as Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Joaquín Rodrigo, Tomás Marco, and Antón García Abril. His discography includes notable albums like Rodrigo's Fantasia Para Un Gentilhombre / Recital De Guitarra (1970) and Concierto De Aranjuez - Fantasia Para Un Gentilhombre (1980). He also recorded for EMI International and Deutsche Grammophon. In 1989, Bitetti created and directed the guitar department at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in the United States.
