Dizmas was an American Christian rock and post-hardcore group from Lancaster, California, formed in 1998. The band consisted of vocalist Zach Zegan, guitarist Jon Howard, bassist Nick Aranda, and drummer Clayton Hunt. The group released its debut album On a Search in America in June 2005. In 2006, Dizmas released the EP Redemption, Passion, Glory, and the recording "Revolution" was featured in the television series CSI: NY. The band released the album Tension in 2007, which included the recording "Play It Safe". The recording reached Number 1 on the Radio & Records Christian Rock National Airplay chart. Following the release of the album Dizmas in 2008, the group performed a tour in the Czech Republic and became inactive. Howard performed as a touring guitarist for Paramore until 2016. Zegan performed with various musicians in Europe between 2009 and 2013 before the group became inactive.
