Deportees is a Swedish rock group from Vindeln and Umeå, formed in 2003. The band consisted of brothers Peder Stenberg and Anders Stenberg, and Thomas Hedlund. Mattias Lidström was a member of the group until 2015. The Grammis-nominated band released its debut album All Prayed Up in 2004, which was preceded by the recording "Arrest Me 'til It Hurts". The group performed on tours across Sweden, the United States, and the United Kingdom in support of the release.The band released the album Damaged Goods in 2006, produced by Pelle Gunnerfeldt and Björn Yttling. The group released the album Under the Pavement – The Beach in 2009, followed by Islands & Shores in 2011 and The Big Sleep in 2015. In 2019, the band released the recording "Bright Eyes" and the EP Re-Dreaming. The group released the album All Future in October 2019. The band released the album People Are a Foreign Country in 2023.
