Christopher Warren-Green is a British violinist and conductor born on July 30, 1955, in Gloucestershire. He served as a chorister at Westminster City School and attended the Royal Academy of Music. Warren-Green was concertmaster of the Philharmonia Orchestra and became Music Director of the London Chamber Orchestra in 1988. He served as Chief Conductor of the Jönköping Sinfonietta (1998–2001), the Nordic Chamber Orchestra (2001–2005), and co-principal conductor of the Camerata Resident Orchestra of the Megaron Athens (2004–2009). From 2010 to 2022, he was Music Director of the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra. Warren-Green conducted for several royal occasions, including the 2005 marriage of the Prince of Wales, the 2011 wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and the 2018 wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. He appeared as a mentor on the television series Maestro and has recorded for labels including EMI, Virgin, and Deutsche Grammophon.
