Melissa Errico, born March 23, 1970 in New York City, is an American actress, singer, recording artist, and writer. She began her professional career at age twelve on the syndicated children's TV series The Great Space Coaster. Errico's musical theater debut came with a national tour of Les Misérables, where she played Cosette. Her Broadway roles include Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady and the title role in One Touch of Venus, along with numerous other stage productions. Errico released her first album, Blue Like That, in 2003, followed by Anna Karenina: The Broadway Musical in 2007, Sondheim Sublime in 2018, and Out Of The Dark: The Film Noir Project in 2022. Her work includes notable collaborations and interpretations of Michel Legrand and Stephen Sondheim. Errico has also contributed to The New York Times and served on the National Endowment for the Arts.
