Born in 1990 in the Paris region, Nathy Boss draws his musical influences from reggae, dancehall, soul and, above all, the hip-hop of the 1990s. He met JoeyStarr, who invited him to appear on his SkyBoss show on Skyrock radio. In 2004, when he was just thirteen, Nathy was invited by Rohff to guest on his album La Fierté des Nôtres, for the track "Le Son qui tue". He signed to JoeyStarr's B.O.S.S. label and released his first single, "Jump Up", in anticipation of an album that never saw the light of day. Nevertheless, between 2005 and 2008, he was asked to support a number of acts, including Elephant Man, JoeyStarr and Lil Wayne. He also joined NTM on stage in 2008 for their reunion, which ended two years later at a packed Parc des Princes. After releasing the track "Boom Boom Boom" with Tabia, Nathy went on to release two free download mixtapes, Jungle Fever and #Bossnup, featuring his signature track, "Marie", dedicated to marijuana. He joined JoeyStarr on the latter's Egomaniac tour in 2011 and 2012, then shared the bill with his mentor on the album Caribbean Dandee, released in 2015.
