Return is a Norwegian rock ensemble formed in 1980 in Stange Municipality. The group performed in the hard rock and power ballad genres. In 1985, the band won the NRK´s Rockemønstring competition. Its debut studio recording, To the Top, appeared in 1987. The ensemble released the studio recordings Attitudes (1988), Straight Down the Line (1989), and Fourplay (1991). Following the 1992 release of the studio album V, the group became inactive in 1993. The band resumed activity in 2001 for live performances and released a self-titled studio album, Return, in 2005. In 2008, the ensemble released the compilation recording Best of...both worlds, which included concert footage from 2007. The group's musical style remained consistent with 1980s rock influences. Members included Knut Erik Østgård, Tore Larsen, Øyvind Håkonsen, Henning Ramseth, and Magnus Østvang.
