Smitten, an Argentine punk rock band, was formed in 1994 in Morón, Buenos Aires by Paulo "Chuk" Funes and Patricio Esteban Castelao. Initially named The Nerds, they changed to Smitten in February 1995 and released their first demo that year. In May 2002, the band released Cambia..., featuring the single "Sentirme Bien", followed by 22:30 in 2004, which included the hit song "La Mentira" and led to successful tours across Argentina and Chile. Subsequent albums include En Algún Lugar (2008) and Puentes (2011). Smitten gained recognition in the punk rock scene across Latin America, performing at venues like Cemento, El Teatro, and La Trastienda.
