Priscilla Renea Hamilton, born September 14 1988 in Gifford, Florida, emerged as a singer‑songwriter under her birth name before adopting the stage name Muni Long in 2019. She first captured attention on YouTube, posting covers that led to a 2009 contract with Capitol Records and the release of her debut album Jukebox on December 1, 2009, preceded by the single "Dollhouse". After a decade of writing chart‑topping hits for artists such as Rihanna, Fifth Harmony, and Kelly Clarkson, she returned to recording with the self‑released album Coloured on June 22, 2018. In 2021, "Hrs & Hrs" became a sleeper hit, reaching the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100, earned her a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance, and attracted a deal with Def Jam Recordings. The track also served as the lead single for her third album Public Displays of Affection: The Album, released September 23, 2022, which entered the Billboard 200. Her subsequent single "Made for Me" mirrored that success, and the 2024 album Revenge received a nomination for Best R&B Album at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with high‑profile artists, toured with major acts, and maintained an independent label, Supergiant Records, while earning multiple Grammy nominations for her songwriting on projects like H.E.R.’s Back of My Mind. In 2025, she released the viral hit "Slow Grind", followed by "Delulu."
