The Dingees, a Christian ska punk ensemble, was formed in Orange County, California, in 1996. The group’s original lineup included vocalist Matthew "Pegleg" Roberts, alongside Dave Chevalier, Matt Hernandez, Tony Terusa, Jon Bon, and Jeff Holmes. They released their debut album, Armageddon Massive, in 1998, followed by Sundown to Midnight in 1999 and The Crucial Conspiracy in 2001. The band featured several notable musicians such as Ethan Luck and Scott Rodgers. The Dingees also contributed exclusive tracks to various compilations, such as “Wake Up” on Skanktified in 1998 and “Another Burnin' City” on Songs from the Penalty Box, Vol. 2 in 1998. Their discography also later included the 2010 release Rebel Soul Sound System.
