Aedena Cycle was a Norwegian electronic music project formed in Tromsø by Torbjørn Brundtland, Svein Berge, Kolbjørn Lyslo, and Gaute Barlindhaug. The quartet released its only recording as a group, The Travellers' Dream EP, through R&S/Apollo in 1994. The release marked the first official recording by Brundtland and Berge, who later achieved international success as the electronic duo Röyksopp. Following the EP, Aedena Cycle continued as a solo project under Barlindhaug, the only remaining original member. He released the albums Albite (1997) and Cargo Cult (1999) on Beatservice Records, further developing the project's ambient and electronic sound. In 2001, Barlindhaug retired the Aedena Cycle name after a copyright conflict with the American graphic novel series The Aedena Cycle and continued recording under the name Kolar Goi. Meanwhile, Lyslo pursued music under the alias Doc L. Jnr.
